At Emash Trade Inc., we’re committed to offering quality refurbished electronics at great value. Each device goes through basic functionality testing, cleaning, and inspection before being offered for sale.
Because refurbished items are pre-owned, there are a few important things we want to be clear about—just so there are no surprises down the road.
1. Hardware
We check all core hardware (like the motherboard, screen, hard drive, RAM, and ports) for basic performance. However, since these are used products, we can’t guarantee how they’ll perform over time. If anything goes wrong during your warranty period, we’re here to help!
2. Software
The Company is not responsible for any software-related problems, including but not limited to operating system errors, software crashes, compatibility issues, virus infections, malware, or use of unlicensed or pre-installed software. The installation, licensing, updating, and security of software is solely the customer’s responsibility.
3. Data Safety
We wipe devices clean during refurbishment, so please make sure to back up your personal data regularly once you start using your new device. We can’t be responsible for lost files or data recovery.
4. Battery Health
The Company makes no guarantees regarding battery performance, lifespan, or safety beyond basic functional testing. Emash Trade Inc. is not liable for battery-related issues such as overheating, leakage, swelling, or reduced capacity.
5. Chargers & Accessories
We recommend using only high-quality, compatible chargers and accessories. We can’t take responsibility for any damage caused by third-party or faulty power adapters.
The Company assumes no responsibility for any damages, electrical faults, fires, or injuries caused by the use of chargers, power adapters, or accessories, whether original, third-party, or refurbished.
6. Handling & Use
Please handle your device with care! Damage caused by drops, spills, misuse, or using unauthorized repair services may void your warranty.
7. Our Limits
While we do our best to ensure every customer has a great experience, we can’t cover every possible situation. We’re not responsible for things like data loss, software issues, injury, property damage, or lost income caused by any product.
8. Repairs & Tampering
Opening up the device or making repairs with someone other than an approved technician may void your warranty. Please contact us first if something’s not working right—we’re happy to help.
9. Legal Stuff
All claims or disputes must be made within 90 days of your original purchase. This policy follows the laws of Ontario and Canada. By purchasing from us, you agree to these terms.
